Farming soon became her life, raising everything organic, including her renowned garlic.
After suffering the tragic loss of her young son, Gretchen turned to art. She began her painting with gusto, finding art as her only solace for extreme unbearable sorrow. “Art saved my life,” Gretchen says.
Gretchen’s art reflects her love of Montana’s extreme beauty, and she embodies that in her work. She works with oil paintings, acrylics and fluid art. Her unique style brings peace and tranquility to her works.
