Being born and raised on a ranch in Musselshell, Montana, Karen Smith had to become a jack of all trades at an early age.  Reusing, repurposing and recycling were everyday occurrences, living 40 miles from a town.  Although these are trendy concepts now, Karen draws from many years’ experience taking things apart and turning them into functional products. She credits her art degree for allowing her creativity to explore other media.  Her potting tables and planters made from lamp parts are currently popular.
